Elise and Marco are an incredibly chic, creative couple. I loved the style and concept they chose for their engagement session. When Elise wrote, saying they wanted something a little different for their session, I suggested a few ideas including my favorite location, the University of Chicago. I was so thrilled they selected this location as I find the mix of nature and gothic architecture really makes for beautiful and not-cliched Chicago engagement session backdrops. And we somehow landed on the most perfect day for fall colors — I have never seen the campus look more gorgeous! After shooting some photos on campus, we went over to the Museum of Science and Industry where we shot some photos in Marco’s vintage BMW convertible. Marco wore a gorgeous gold velvet blazer, and Elise wore one of her grandmother’s gowns. I cannot wait for their wedding this fall at the Athletic Association!
