During the wedding I shot yesterday, the best man was chatting with me in the limo and said, “You must have some great stories about crazy wedding moments, right?” Put on the spot, I racked my brain for the tales of runaway brides, weather that put everything in disarray, or some sort of crazy brawl at the wedding. But, as I thought about it, nothing came to mind. “I’m very fortunate,” I said. “My couples are incredibly cool, laid-back and in love, and I’ve never really had any insane situations.” Adam and Emily’s wedding was no exception to my continuing streak of good wedding luck. A stunningly beautiful wedding at A New Leaf, the happiness, joy and love was so evident in their celebration that I nearly cried a few times. I was a little photo-happy at their wedding, so I decided to break their post up into two parts–one with getting ready, bridal portraits and ceremony, and later this week, you’ll see couple and group portraits and reception.
Thank you both for letting me share in the day with your friends and your incredibly lovely families. I had such a wonderful time.
