Best of 2008: Engagement/Connection Sessions

I hope everyone had a fabulous new year. I spent the past few days in stunning San Francisco, and kicked off the new year with a relaxing week spent with some of my closest friends.

As I’ve been reflecting on 2008, I also decided to do a survey of some of my favourite photographs of the past year. I say it often, but I really do have the best clients, and looking back has reminded me of all the truly amazing couples I’ve been fortunate enough to capture. Over the next few days or weeks, I hope to share a few of my favourite photos from a few different genres of my wedding photographs.

First up are my favourite engagement and connection session images. I simply adore shooting these sessions, as I find it’s when I get to know a couple best, and it really is a wonderful chance to be able to infuse your photographs with so many elements of you via your choice in location, dress and attitude. As a quick reminder, I’ll be doing some traveling this spring, so if you have friends outside of Chicago who might be interested in a session, let me know, as special rates may be in effect. Connection sessions are a wonderful way to capture the relationship between you and your significant other whether you’re engaged, just dating or have been married for several years. Apologies for all the variances in the “watermarks.” I have been waiting for a long while to reveal some new branding and a new site, and it looks like it should finally be done by the end of the month. Can’t wait to share and also have some constitency in the marks!
