Hadley + Matt :: Engagement connection session

Hadley and Matt are a beautiful couple that I had the pleasure to meet and work with last month. They are getting married downtown next summer, but, like many of my couples opt to, decided to do their session in an opposite season. Here in Chicago we are so blessed (and cursed!) to have such a range of different seasonal looks, so whenever possible I love to do the session in the spring or summer and the wedding in the fall or winter, or vice versa. We started the shoot at their home in Wicker Park. I have been going to more clients’ homes this year, and have really enjoyed it. I don’t think there is any easier way to learn more about a couple and what they like and what their style is than visiting their house. Hadley and Matt have the coziest home that complements their kind and relaxed personalities; in Wicker Park but tucked away from the craziness, quiet and sunny, a home filled with photos, cooking, a wealth of plants and two adorable pups.
