New Site - Hooray!

After many months of contemplation, editing and revisions, and I am so very excited to share the all new Olivia Leigh Photographie site and blog. Words cannot express how excited I am to finally have both the site and blog together in one tidy little HTML package! Many thanks to Ryan Werth of Pretty Clever Design, who took the site from conception to reality and dealt with all of my (admittedly difficult) demands! I really wanted to transition to a site that, first of all, was easy to navigate and easy to use, and secondly, more clearly embodied the more focused style of my work. I hoped for a site that was elegant and understand in design, that hinted at the vintage and urban elements of my photographs, while really allowing the photos to speak for themselves. I am really so thrilled with the outcome and hope everyone loves it, too. We’re still finishing up a few tweaks and fleshing out a bit more content, but I hope you enjoy browsing the all new portfolio sections and other areas of the site. I’ll also be rolling out a special clients-only section later this winter, where we’ll be able to keep track of items related to just your wedding. Many thanks again to Ryan, and also to friends who helped with the long editing process, particularly Laura, Joel and PK. Please come visit in coming days, as I am looking forward to posting a slew of shoots and weddings that I held off on blogging until the site was completed. So much to share!

Book now for fall/holiday session

Just a quick note to let everyone know that fall is definitely my busiest season (not June/July, contrary to popular opinion), and this Sept. - Nov. is shaping up to be the busiest yet. If you are interested in any sort of session in 2009, please email me as soon as you know what you’re looking for and when you’d like to do it. If you are looking for any sort of holiday gift or a session before the holidays, this should be done within the first week of November ideally, and I only have space for about one (maybe two) sessions before then, whether than be boudoir, engagement, kids or day after. Other sessions will be available in November and early December on a very limited basis, but please schedule now as I am capping availability to ensure photos and clients receive the attention they deserve!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and enjoys the holiday. Looking forward to sharing photos from a wedding at the MCA and my last wedding this year at Morton.
