These Chicago Athletic Association wedding photos are one of my favorite sets. This couple was so, so sweet, and their friends and family were such a pleasure to work with. They were so wonderful and letting go and being present at their wedding, which I think really came through in their images. We did a sweet first look in Lurie Gardens, and then a ceremony with one of the nicest priests I’ve worked with at gorgeous St. James Chapel. Their reception at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel was stunning. I had been dying to shoot at this new venue, and it did not disappoint! A few of my favorite moments: the couple getting tons of cheers and high fives from people going to the taste of Chicago; all their friends cheering for them in the Game Room when they returned to the hotel; the bride and her friends serenading the groom at the reception; and let’s just say tons of fun dance moves. 🙂
