WEDDINGS | chicago

After over a decade of photographing weddings, I was so excited to finally be able to shoot at the majestic Field Museum. I've always thought this venue would be such an amazing location for a wedding, with the grand, ivory great hall being so fitting for a wedding. Q&J's gorgeous summer event lived up to all my dreams and then some. In addition to the big moments, I also loved capturing the small connections that unfolded. At some weddings, these relationships are the obvious ones -- the new spouse, parents, grandparents -- but, at this wedding, the bride's incredibly close connection with her maid of honor shone through, and I found myself looking out for moments capturing their unique bond, in addition to the more obvious relationships.
