These two had a gorgeous December wedding. I absolutely love shooting winter weddings! To me, there is something so romantic about this time of year, and I love working with the challenges of lighting, weather, and locations that we sometimes can have. I feel very proud of the work my team creates on even some dreary days and wanted to highlight a few celebrations that were still lovely despite a chill in the air and often a lack of sun. For this celebration, we were expecting winter weather but were blessed with a pretty temperate day that allowed us to still do wedding party and family photos outdoors. The couple held their preparations and the reception at the gorgeous, historic Glen View Club. This historic club has absolutely stunning grounds and its reception space is no typical country club, with it’s pitched, wood-beam roof that made for a romantic English countryside feel. A cloud of fog descended on the grounds during the reception, and we were able to create a few special night photos with the mist and the illuminaria that lit the path.
