AWESTERN weekend in big sky country

A dream wedding in a dream location, with horses, wide open spaces, and every type of weather

For many years, my ultimate bucket list location had been Montana. Whereas other photographers dreamed of St. Tropez or Bali, the natural landscape, open spaces, light and colors always drew me to Montana. When the opportunity came up to photograph the sister of a past bride who was getting married in Paradise Valley, I jumped at the chance. This weekend was true artistic fulfillment, with so many opportunities for artistic portraits that showcased the stunning landscape, and a rainstorm (complete with purple skies and a rainbow) that kept everyone partying in the reception tent until the early morning hours.
