An iconic weekend that blended intimate family moments and an off-the-charts party
For a couple that valued intentional time with their closest family members as well as a large celebration with all their friends, a full weekend of festivities was the right move. Friday included a small church ceremony with their closest family only, in which the bride wore her mother's wedding dress in the same church where her parents had married years prior. An Italian-themed al fresco rehearsal dinner and welcome party followed, ramping up the energy for what would be an incredible wedding celebration on Saturday. The weather was beyond perfect, and a ceremony overlooking Lake Michigan at the historic Shoreacres club led into one of the most energetic receptions I've ever captured, held in a clear top tent that allowed the breeze from the bluffs to come in all evening.
