There are some couples, where when you meet them, you immediately know they are a truly perfect match. These two definitely fell in that category — they have a special connection and friendship that is so clear; you can really tell they love spending time together and love and respect one another.
These two had a classic style, and Cathedral Hall in the fall was a perfect fit for their the University Club of Chicago wedding. Birch Design Studio did an amazing job transforming Cathedral Hall into a gorgeous, warm space, adding tons of greenery and garlanded chandeliers that drew attention to the beautiful stained glass and architecture of the space. The groom was in an accapella group and there was a surprise group singing songs on the staircase as guests exited the ceremony — such a cute touch! It rained most of the day, but they kept a great attitude throughout the day, embracing the drizzle and also taking photos inside the Art Institute with some of their favorite pieces of art. They were also both very close to their families, and I especially loved capturing the special relationships between them and their parents and siblings.
I loved these photos and the sense of warmth and happiness that comes through in them. Enjoy the photos from their Cathedral Hall at the University Club of Chicago wedding below!
